Ustad Gulab Khan Achievement Award and Ustad Sultan Khan Memorial Concert 2018 was held at the historic Mehrangarh Fort on 29th March 2018 with the award being given to the reknowned singer Shri Suresh Wadkar. The evening opened with a performance by Shri Sanju Sahai, the head of the Benaras Gharana of tabla, accompanied by Shri Dilshad Khan, sarangi player and nephew of the late Ustad Sultan Khan. This was followed by the Award ceremony where Shri Suresh Wadkar was felicitated by Rajasthan High Court Chief Justice Shri G.K Vyas and our event sponsors from Jodhpur city. Shri Suresh Wadkar then performed many of his memorable ghazals and hindi film songs to an audience of nearly 2,800 people. It was surely a night to remember!
