.. and this year’s Award went to, the legendary singer of Hindi Cinema, ASHA BHOSLE!
It was a true honour to host the Ustad Gulab Khan Acheivement Award 2019 and Ustad Sultan Khan Memorial Concert on Saturday 16th February 2019 at the majestic Mehrangarh Fort in the presence of HH Maharaja Gaj Singh of Marwar. The award was presented to Asha Bhosle for her outstanding contribution to the field of music and a tribute performance was given by her band led by the renowned musican, Nitin Shankar from Mumbai. The event started with lighting the lamp by local dignitaries, sponsors and the Maharaja, and then a performance by Imran Khan and Friends of sufi, folk and fusion music.
